on a side (and scientific) note, i'm not even sure if the animal in the pic IS an ass. i have been looking at it for a few weeks and i am kinda wondering about that stripe on its shoulder.
as far as i can remember, asses (full-blooded) are more of a horse looking type... not like the cute little burro in the piccie.
*shrugs*
i have considered searching for what i think that animal is...but i really don't give a rat's ass about it enough.

hmmmmm....
i am sure that ek3 is being sarcastic...
but (scientifically speaking) if it were cross bred with a zebra..it would still have more horse features.
(meaning--the head would be larger)
